Thumbs up Havalon Knives

I purchased a new knife at www.havalon.com Ph. 513-271-2117, and it should do the job very well. Good luck.

It's a niche knife. Keep us posted.

My buddy has one and although we went through three blades on the bull elk he got this year by the time we got it skinned and quartered out in the field, they are great and scalpel sharp. They are a must for a backpacking hunt in that they weigh so little for an item that is a must have on any hunt.

You don't have to worry about trying to sharpen it.

I have one as well, They really do speed up the work. My hunting partner shot a bull in the afternoon this season. I remember saying we better hustle if we are going to get this animal packed out before dark. I did break one blade ( on a hip joint) but I was back in business within a minute. My Elk hunting partners are all buying them.
Deer season we had two bucks down in the same canyon, the havalon worked as it does and we went through 2 deer with one blade. quickly
I have owned many knives over the years but the Havalon is great gear. I will never go hunting without it.

I got one of these last week. Hope to try it out on a late season deer on Saturday shortly after dusk. I'll keep you posted.

I do a lot of caping out heads and when you nick bone all the time the blade of your knife gets dull fast. I have one of these knives now and with all the knife work I end up doing it sure is nice and keeps my regular knives in great shape. I'm a fan.
