This one is my favorite. I like drop pointed knives as working knives. Pointed knives are for fighting and kitchens to me. I bought the blank and made the handle myself from a cherry burle from my firewood pile. I don't see the picture loading. Its on this link.

I have a knife made by Mike Connors that keeps its edge and looks incredible.

While hunting I always carry my leatherman wave. I love a fixed blade but for general hunting there is nothing my leatherman can't handle. For cleaning game I am now using the Havalon Talon fixed blade knife. Great feel like a regular fixed blade with thick razor sharp blades. I have a few of the standard havalon and gerber razor knives but don't like the thin blades on them. The talon fixed all those issues.

I like the older Buck 110 knife for hunting. But I also enjoy carrying a utility knife with a rug/shingle blade in it for dressing.. The utility knife with that blade in it makes opening game up without any worries on hitting the guts or anything..

A few years ago, a man gave me a knife he made as part of a new hobby. He'd admitted to being an alcoholic and had taken up bladesmithing to keep his mind busy as part of his recovery.

It's a very special blade.

I refused to use the knife at all until I had a deer down and it was ready to be field dressed.
