Hmmm,
If I turn my 50 cal. .460 gr. No-excuses bullet backwards, it kind of looks like a gigantic boat-tailed wadcutter.

Take a look at the Lee REAL cast bullets, very close to wadcutters in shape and do not require anything except a good lube.

Why reck the effect and design of the bullet? In a muzzle loader the vel. doen,t make them mushroom that much anyway.There a good bullet i use them all the time. Plus ass stated you would loose vel. ect. Use then the way they are made for serious hunting if thats what your doing? vangunsmith
