Lonewolf: Unfortunately they were out of the one I think you ordered(24" Barrel), which is the one that I wanted. You probably got the last one.
They do still have some of the standard Blued 21" Barrel.
Do you or anyone else think there would be a big shooting difference between the two barrels (24" vs. 21". Also what big advantages are there with a steel vs. blued barrel other than looks and cleaning?

Thanks a lot Lonewolf. I checked it out and looks like they do still have them and the price is even better. I saw these rifles listed in Cabela's Midwinter Sale Catalog and they were advertising the Thunderhawk with a 24" Stainless barrel for $150, but when I called on it, they were all out of stock.
THanks!

Lonewolf, Thanks again. Sounds like you got yours already. I am still debating it myself whether to go ahead and get the Thunderhawk or wait. Sometimes I really like the traditional muzzleloaders as well, but I do want an inline model. And this price is just almost too good to pass up. Is it really a good quality rifle? You haven't shot it yet have you? Yeah I had thought about that before and was definetly going to change the sights with some fiber optics as soon as I got it.

will get to the indoor range next week @ try this thunderhawk out.i have also a c.v.a. hunter eclipse in a 50 cal.that i pick up out of bass pro for $99.00 .did a little work on this gun .glass bed the action.man does this gun shoot well at 50 yards with iron sights 3 shot groupe in a 1/2 inch.i really did not need another black powder rifle but when i seen the price it's only money.i have not shot black powder since the late 1980's just got back into it.rifle hunting is nice but i think it was time for a change. i don't like shooting shotguns( slug guns)because of recoil.on the other hand the black powder rifle to me have no recoil. i tried the new c.v.a. powerbelts they shoot real well ,but there are a lot of mix reviews on stopping power at close range.and what is great about the m/l you can use it in a shotgun county also.
