Oh please let it be less powerful also. That way its not moving the projectile off the load before full ignition.

Have you actually used these new Remington 209 ? I hope they will
really perform as you have stated. I like 777 and now it seems we

Figures, someone would have to bail out Hodgdon and their crud ring, so it might as well be Remington!:D

Many hunting stores don't re-stock after-Christmas muzzleloading accessories until June. Many others won't want to carry (2) Remington 209 primers ..ie.. STS and Kleanbore - so these new ones may be slow arriving. Also... rumor has it that Hodgdon will also package these under their name. We'll see how it all shakes-out around mid-year.... also see how 777 pellets react to them internally.

Yes I agree with 777 can't find these here in West Ky. But as you stated many stores will not restock ML supplies untill mid-year.
We can only hope that they will perform as adverstised. When you
get around to my age you need all the help you can get:D
What with all the new powder and bullet combinations you got to
be part hunter part ballistics engineer. and part time mushroom
grower:) Well at least we can always come here to find out
just how much we truly don't know about our sport.

They won't be transporting to stores until the 3rd quarter of 2005. In my mathematics class of late 1960s, that means starting in July they will begin to trickle in... probably in most stores by around September.
