RE: Decisions: Omega vs other guns
I don't have an unlimited budget, but I purchased an Encore which will cost you a little more. It does give you the option of purchasing many different centerfire barrells and you have another gun. They are very good shooters. 1" at 100 yds with the 250 grain shockwave and 90 grains of 777 powder. Another thing about the switching of the barrell to have another rifle is that you are familure with the guns trigger, feel and comfort. May cost you a little extra at first by I don't think you will reget it, and it has a life time warranty.

RE: Decisions: Omega vs other guns
If I were faced with the problem I'd go for the Optima Pro 209. I just
can't see all them dollars flying away with TC. As far as Knight.... well a lot of people love them but I'm not one of them. I have 50cal American Knight; I know not the top of the line. I have owned this knight for over 2 years. It will not group anywhere close to where you hold. I thought iron sights were messed-up... took it to a local gunsmith he says no prob. with them. Took it back to him had 3x9x40 installed & bore-sited. Still will not group no matter what brand or what grain or what pellet or what projectile used. took it back to gunsmith had barell checked its ok he said. I just got a 45cal from cva it shoots JUST GREAT!!!!:D |
