Brand new to Muzzleloading, with no clue??
I just bought a Traditions .45 cal Lighting Bolt-Action Rifle with a Fluted barrel and a Muzzlebrake. I don't know the first thing about Muzzloading, but it was on clearance for $99.00, so I thought it was a good deal??? I have not bought any accessories. What would you recommend? A starter kit with video?? Thanks for the help------- J-bone

RE: Brand new to Muzzleloading, with no clue??
I'd start by poking thru the posts here - there is a lot of great information here. I know the TC guns I've bought come with a very good (for me) manual - did your rifle come with a manual? I've seen the TC manual for sale in a local gun shop, again - for me it was very informative.

I'll agree with Rick, lots of good info for you in these previous posts. Plenty of good folks here to assist you too. Good luck and good shooting.

RE: Brand new to Muzzleloading, with no clue??
When I first started into muzzleloading, I picked up a video at the local Wal-Mart that was titled "Successful Muzzleloading" with O'Neill Williams. It featured CVA products throughout the video and even if you don't own a CVA product which I don't, the info in the video still applies to all brands of ML's. I would highly recommend a video like this to anyone just getting started into muzzleloading, it will save you a lot of time and money!
