Traditions Evolution cleanup

My brother bought an Evolution (nice rifle) and we shot it on boxing day. We had put a lithium grease on the breach plug but it still seized up. Are these rifles more prone to this with a magnum load? We cleaned her good after shooting 20 or so loads by taking off the stock and dismatling the bolt (farely easy but time consuming), is this a needed ritual or are there quicker ways to clean this rifle?

Cleaning & lightly coating Traditions bolt/plunger actions is a MUST. Where did you find any literature on lithium being a good anti-seize??

The best two hunting store-bought breechplug greases are CVA Breechplug & Nipple Grease along with Tetra Grease. Lather ALL plug threads - hand-tighten - remove & watch as some grease stays in the bore threads - re-lather - reapply at hand-tighten. After every 8-10 shots, use a socket/wrench & socket extention if-need-be for best/easiest results... check to see if the plug is loose - then re-hand-tighten. Once you are completely done shooting & the barrel is still warm, loosen the plug two complete turns until you get home for cleaning.
