Traditions Kentucky Rifle Kit

I have been looking at the Traditions Kentucky Rifle kit(percussion) for some time now and think this is my best option in a low cost semi assembled kit that has most of the options that I am looking for. I really like their Pennsylvania Rifle but they do not offer it in a kit form. Does anyone have any experience with this Ky. rifle kit? What kind of quality is it? How well can I expect it to shoot? How well are the parts pre-fit? I built a T/C Hawken from a kit 20 years ago and it is still a good shooter, but I have always wanted a "long" rifle. The main reason I am leaning toward the Traditions is it is one of the few kits that comes with a 1:66 twist as I intend to only shoot round balls, and cost. I am open to other suggestions for similar kits as I would really like to find one that also has double set triggers.

P.S. Coondog#1 I got your e-mail and thanks a ton. I plan to see you guys in Feb.

RE: Traditions Kentucky Rifle Kit

Sparkshooter, my nephew bought that kit a few years back, and built himself a pretty good gun, don't care to much for the two piece stock but for the money he got himself a vary accurate shooter. As for the Traditions Pennsylvania, save your money, the only good thing I can say about that gun is its looks. The stock is vary uncomfortable to shoulder to the point that its painful to shoot. They really need to change the style of the stock. The kentucky though is a good shooter, it is inexpensive, and you can finish it to something you like, I know my nephew likes his.
