NJ Blackpowder Buck
Hey guys I just thought I'd share with you all a picture of this years blackpowder buck. I shot him Monday morning the first day of our blackpowder season at about 90 yds. with my Knight disc. I stoked it with 150 gr. of pyrodex pellets and a Swift A-frame 250 grainer. Bullet performance was phenomenal... I caught the second to last rib on the right side of the animal quartering away. The bullet exited the left shoulder and shattered it. On its way through it took out the liver and both lungs. I could not ask more from a bullet... I am extremely pleased... Can't wait for the shotgun opener next monday.
Thanks guys!!!

First off, congratulations on a nice buck. Not only is it a nice sized buck but looks like an excellent eating buck. From your pictures I am guessing that when you opened him up, it looked like soup in there. All the blood pushed through the nose and mouth indicated a lot of internal damage to the lungs...
Nice deer, nice shot.

Great buck!!! I use to lease 500 plus acres just down the road from your hunting club property.. that area held alot of deer and some nice bucks years ago. Looks like it still does.....once again congrats !!!!!
