Finally Playing Catchup!!!!
 

after all the storm damage and having to work from befor day lite till after dark for over a mo. I finally got to do a little hunting.

Sat. our B/P season opened.a young friend of mine got me some Buck Studs and brought to me.(I usuall don't use any of these sents) not wanting to hurt his feelings I took them and they have been my gun safe for 3 years.I got my B/P guns out this week and I saw them and though what the h@@@.
Sat. morning I started to my stand,I opened one and spraied it on my boots as I walked to the stand(about 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile).
at 7:20 a deer came down the trail I walked in on with its nose to the ground.it walked to the bottom of my stand,it was dark but I could tell he had real long cuverd beams.he turned and I put it in the middle of his back just about the center of the shoulders.when the smoke cleared he was laying there.
I got down and went to him.a real nice 8pt. 13 1/2" spread long G2's ,G3's were broken off.

I have a pic. of him from my game cam. I got in late sept.about 1 mile from where I shot him.

will post some pic's. in a few days.soon as I get them on CD.
first time sents have ever pay for me.all I have ever used have ran the deer off ; (ever time bar noon.)you never know.I will have to try them some other time.:D

Way to go Tree Climber. I got a 7 point and 3 points so far in God's Country GA.Looks like it's going to be a good season. Oh I missed GA's BP season. I got these opening weekend of modern gun.The hurricanes really messed allot of us up. We couldn't get our food plots in.We went up mid week before BP season and got set up. We decided to skip BP this year thanks to the gas prices. Towards the end of the season I'll probably take my Knight out once I have enough meat for the year.I love shooting a deer using a BP Rifle.
