My book lists .....

REMINGTON 700 muzzleloader... rear 36 - front 35 - one piece 97
. that is for a top mount base style. All you need do is when you place an order, ask. Most of the on line stores or department stores have a book to look it up for you in.....

hope this helps.

Would highly recommend you buy some quick detachable/release rings. Cleaning the 700 (or any muzzleloader) is made much easier by using good QD rings. Warne and Leupold would be my favorites.

Cayugad, did you get some of the Burris QDs? What do you think of them? Mine seem okay, lock down rigidly but still not certain they return to zero as well as Warnes or Leupolds.

U31072 201LM 1IN QD RINGS MED MATTE

I am using the Leupold (2piece) DD with a Zeiss Conquest. Had planned to switch to the QR's this fall but didn't have the right size in stock locally. If starting from scratch this would also be my suggestion. You can goto Leupolds website and look under the scope selector section.

Many use weaver styles for ML and CF's but I have never had a problem with Leupold as such that is my choice for my hunting setups.

Yes I got the Burris and they would not return to ZERO even close. I sent them back. I then had an old pair of solid rings so I threw them on... I was a little disappointed with the Burris quick release, but it looks like all of them are that same way...
