Moving up to a bolt action
 

I couldn't pass up a great deal for a Knight Disc, only thing is I'm having a hard time selling my stainless steel Wolverine.

I've listed here on the classifieds, but have only had a couple of people interested.
My question is, is there any good online auction sites for guns???

Put a Leupold on it and advertise for top dollar on the scope/gun combo. Cheaper scopes won't pull a sale like a good scope will. Selling a used muzzleloader is alot different than selling a used smokeless rifle. Everyone knows muzzleloaders are dirty and the suspicion that the gun is corroded is very high even with good care. Also coupled with the fact that your model is waning in popularity to the inlines and that lots of muzzleloaders are very cheap sitting brand new on the shelf pushes the resale values way down. Why not keep it as a back up or as a spare buddy gun?

If you paid more than $159 for the Knight Disc after rebate, then it was not a good deal. If not the regular Knight Disc, then I hope you bought the Knight Disc Elite supersale at Cabelas.com for $209 after $50 rebate. That is the Best Buy I ever seen in a muzzleloader.

Trip, That is One Great Price, on what many consider the Most Accurate ML Today, Myself Included.

Why not keep the Rifle, and Introduce a Youngster to the Sport. If it's not Eating Anything, Keep it, I always say.

I bought the original disc version, it is going to be a little over $200 after rebate.
It's stainless with camo stock, two things not offered with the Cabela's sale, which I wanted.

I would keep the wolverine, but the money to pay for the new gun is to come from sale of it...the wife doesn't understand having two muzzleloaders.

Dude, you never should make deals with wives to pay for things this way.[X(] She's going to make you do it on more and more stuff everytime you come home with more toys. You could mow a few yards and give her the dough long before you get that MZ sold for any decent price.

I got it! Don't shoot the new one and resell it for more since it was on sale. Next year get the latest one on sale for the real deal that triple7 advised. You'd be about $50 ahead and still get one after saving up and would have an entire year to sell the Wolverine to add to the kitty.

You'd think I'd have learned by now...
I can't justify telling the wife not to spend money, but spend a couple hundred on a second muzzleloader.

With three kids, self indulgence isn't an option, ya know???

Well we did get on to another tangent there. I am pleased with my purchase, Cabela's deal is good, but I prefer stainless steel barrels.

The question at hand is if there is any good online gun auction sites.
I found gunbroker.com, but no one hardly bids.
