How far are your shots going to be? 2x32(is it adjustable or fixed power?) will usually be fine I shoot a 2.5-7x32 an it works just fine

RE: QUESTION FOR TRIPLE SE7EN?

I know you're going to want to reach out with your ML... even practice out to 200 yards someday -- so that fixed 2X Simmons won't be of much help... especially using it for range work if you don't own a spotting scope or binoculars.

You need a 2-7 variable at least. A 4X fixed is cheaper but I got into trouble using one a few times when a deer suddenly appears within 35-40 yards & all you see thru the scope is a gob of deer hair because the animal is too close for the 4X magnification. Here are two inexpensive options.
