Default knight or encore???

i am going to buy a muzzeloader this month. i am having trouble choosing between the two. the knight has easy charging (with the disc) yet encores are more versitile. but the main use will be black powder. i don't think i can go wrong between the two, but lets hear what you guys think is the better smokepole
thanks

t-roy,

I agree you won't go wrong with either but I prefer the Encore simply because of its versatility. Plus it just feels better in my hands.

how quick/easy is it to load and unload the primer either after a shot, or without having taken a shot, as in unloading to drive to another spot?

With the Encore, all you do is break the breach and take out the 209 primer. Takes about 2 seconds. I can't comment on the Knight as I have never used one.

The Encore is a quality gun with endless possibilities.

If you can afford it I would get the Encore hands down unless it doesn't feel right in your hands.

T-roy I have the knoght disc rifle with the 26" barrel and it shoots great. I would have definitely of bought the encore though if I could of afforded it though. The encore just feels better in my hands. I would buy the encore if you can afford it.

encore all the way great accuracy quick follow up shots. Only down fall with the encore is that when you mount a scope you need A hammer extension not available from T/C.
