T/C and Hornady Bullets
 

Are T/C bullets manufactured by Hornady? I notice similarities between T/C xtp and Hornady xtp, and also the T/C shockwave and the Hornady sst.

Yes they are. All you need to do is buy Hornady .452 XTP's and a harvester black high pressure sabot and you should have the same load. The problem with the SST's is they do not sell them in bulk. I think they do that because everyone would be shooting them and not buying their sabot combinations.

I have real good luck shooting the SST's and XTP's out of my Black Diamond and my Staghorn. They are good bullets. I like the 300 grains and the 250 & 240 grain combinations. Accuracy is outstanding with them.

I like the price of the Hornady xtp/harvester sabots, bought in bulk. It's not quite like the other high tech, polymer filled bullets, but its good for 100+ yds I think.

I have had some excellent results with the Hornady 240 grain XTP's and the T/C mag express sabots. I was shooting them out of my Black Diamond which is scoped, off shooting sticks. This was the three shot group at 50 yards. Needless to say I was impressed.

Do you have any experience with the 200gr Shockwave bullers. I am currently shooting the PR Bullet "Dead centers" in 220gr. but am looking at the others. My friend is shootin the same ML'er as me and is having great results, but I want a second opinion.

No experience here with the 200 gr bullets. I've shot the 250 gr shockwaves out of my 50 cal Omega though.

never shot 200 gr shockwave but have shot 250 out of my tc omega......awsome...half inch groups @ 100 yds, with 100 gr 777
