RE: Traditions Black Powder?

Those are listed on the Traditions web site for anywhere from $269.00 to $299.00 depending on the barrel length. I am sure there are sites where you could get them cheaper, and at times they have came on sale. It is hard to say what he actually paid for the thing. The first thing you need do is break it down and look through the barrel. If he is asking top dollar make sure it is in top shape. The second thing is you need to ask yourself how bad you really want a black powder single shot pistol. My State for instance will not allow them for hunting. They are fine for target shooting and I am sure with the charge they accept they will have knock down power if you were to use it for hunting. So if a single shot pistol is something you really want and it is in excellent shape, then buy it. Otherwise save your money and down the road you can always get a new one.....:)
