I chose - I bought a Huntsman ... now what ?

I bought an older but new Huntsman (last years model ?) that comes with a 12 gauge barrel too.

Ive read a bit about the poor sights and maybe a breach plug issue .... anything I need to know to beef this gun up ? I paid $160 for it .... can't beat the price IMO

Sights are replaceable , that's why they sell scopes and replacement sights . A bad breech plug can injure or kill . Check with the manufacturer to see if the model has been recalled for ANY reason , then send it to them or a competant gunsmith if it has . Other than that , enjoy !

Stealthycat, lots of things I could tell you but your first step should be to go over the http://www.hr1871.com/talk/index.htm and join the talk forums, particularly the Huntsman forum. Lots of good info and proven methods are discussed there.

Several of the folks there really know their stuff and are glad to help with any questions.
