I have no idea how much drop at a 100 yards you would have if sighted in at 50. I would be interested to know. You are just going to be forced to go and play with it and shoot and then have more fun shooting to make sure.... such a shame.

Great Plains by Hornady is what I would try. I had a 50 cal. Renegade that
shot very well with them.

I've shot a 50 cal. Renegade quite a bit. Using mostly round balls I found that 70 grains of powder was the most accurate. I'd start there and try working up in 5 grain increments until you find the most accurate load. I'd also sight in 2-4" high at 50 yards rather than dead on. This should give you roughly a 100 yard shot without holding off deer size game. As others have said the only way to know for sure is to try it as each gun is a little different.
