I put a Redfield 2x7 on my Ruger 77/50.I happened to have it laying around so decided to use it. If I were going to buy one strictly for it I would have gotten a 4x.A 4x would be more then enough for a muzzleloader. Ruger Redhawk

Just put a Redfield Widefield 2-7X on my new T/C ThunderHawk. Can't wait to try it out. Loks to be a super combo!

Bushnell Sportview Shotgun scope in 1.5 X 4.5

It has survived 200 rounds without a complaint or loss of zero. For the longer (100+yd) shots, I do wish maybe I could have gotten up to a 6.0 power - But I didn't want to loose the low power range in order to get it.

I use a 3x9x40,nikon on my 45 disc,and a 3x9x40 on my ruger also

Thanks for the input guys...I have 2.5 x8 Leupold laying around. I thought it was to much scope for the gun.. Its going on. Thanks for the offer wolf, I allready have a stainless set..

Have a Leup 3x9 on my Knight 45.Bought it(stole it!)on sale at Wally Wall-Mart after it sat on shelf for almost a year.I then proceeded to talk the store manager down to $140 bucks!!Great scope for low light!

Have a Simmons Pro 50 on my T/C.Bought it only for the 50 objective.Gives me +10 minutes shooting time at dawn,dusk at 3x.

jerseyjoe Here in nebr they only alow 1power scopes, put one one my 700ml 3 years ago and took it back off and went with peep and HiViss front sight, like that alot better. The 1 power just wouldn't let light in, and every thing seem about twice as far away. Zeak

My buddy has a long eye relief 2-7x shotgun scope on his inline. He likes it, but I don't think he uses more than the 4x setting. A fixed power 3x or 4x sounds like a winner to me.

Lone,,,,Used stainless mounts with a matte finish black scope... My gun has a synthetic black stock and stainless barrel.

I have a 3-9 bushnell banner with the circle reticle. I very rarely take it off of 3 power though.
