Hello folks,

Just wanted to drop a line to say thanks. For all the great and informative posts. I have been keeping a close eye one all the great information that has been passing through here for the last year or so. You have all helped me choose my ML and set my self up with the needed extras. I ordered a Lyman Great Plains Hunter .50 cal Cap lock 1-32 twist. It is due to arrive tomorrow 12-03-03. Leaving me with only two afternoons to get a load worked up for Saturday, and Sunday. The last two days of WI's ML season. I have a doe tag I would like to fill. I am on a budget so I couldn't get every thing I would like to try. But to Start with I bought a pound of Pyrodex 2ffg, a 20 pack of 245 gr Powerbelts HP's and a 20 pack of 275 gr TC Maxi Hunters. Not to mention no.11 caps a flask a powder measuring apparatus cleaning supplies and such. I think I can work up an accurate Load with one of my two bullet options. I wish I would have had all summer to practice with my new ML but this is the best my wife and finace situation would allow. If I can't get it shooting good I just wont go hunting with it.......this year. :) Last year I borrowed a buddy's Hawken rifle and got the bug to get my own. Any way thank you to everyone. Without this forum I would be lost. I am looking forward to lifetime of enjoyment from my new Muzzle Loader, and sharing what I learn with current & future members of this forum.

P.S. I already have my eye on a muzzle loading Shotgun.
