Pic of Me and my long time hunting buddy from back in the early 70's with deer taken with our Hawken Flintlocks and patch and ball. Both deer were shot minutes apart.

Pretty awesome, except you both should be wearing buckskins. :s4:

Hubby I'd wear buckskins if they had thinsulate insulation!!!!!!!!

Ahh, memories, only another hunter can understand the what those hunting photos from the past mean to them.

Looks like a great fun hunt. Something I have always wanted to do.

Great times for sure. I don’t remember tree bark camo being available back in the early 70,s which is what your shirt looks like.

Maybe it was very early in the 80s. I know me and my buddy looked a lot younger then. Now my hair is as white as that snow and I know those pants no longer fit me! I still have that shirt though.

Its amazing how our old hunting clothes shrink over the years! :wink:

Yep, It seems all fabrics shrink as time passes. Wool and denim are the worst.
