saw a bunch of deer, 1 shooter buck with no shot opportunity. saw a huge flock of turkeys about everyday but they were in a 75 acre field with no way of stalking them. the bear was nowhere to be found. still a good time to be in the woods!

bought it I think from either cabelas or gander mountain around 1983, cost was 179 bucks plus shipping, CVA offers them now for north of a grand!

CVA has not offered a sidelock in quite a few years. Lyman sells some that are made by Pedersoli for about $900 or so but not in the Tryon model. They call that the Lyman Signature series.

I think Cherry's has some too starting at about $1300ish for the least expensive Tryon.
