CVA Apex stuck closed troubleshooting
 

My apex is stuck closed. I can’t get the breach to open. I fired the gun so it’s not loaded and it’s still stuck. Any ideas how to get it to break open? The trigger assembly won’t break open. Thanks.

Have you tried cocking the hammer and pulling the trigger? Mine will not break open if the hammer is cocked even just a little bit.

So, you fired it and now it's locked up? Will the disconnect even work? You said the trigger assembly wont break open. I am assuming you mean when you pull it back it wont release the barrel lock to open the breach. This is just a guess since I don't have the rifle in hand but you might have blown your breech plug back a bit jamming it all up. It's not common but it does happen. Could be your last charge was an over load. Id say send it in to CVA. They are supposed to have a good warranty on their products.
