Cracked my forearm dangit!

Cracked my forearm dangit!
Tonight dialing in that 54 sharps carbine I cracked the front forearm on my last shot.
I searched but cant find a replacement. Ant one have any ideas. It's a IAB Macheno Sharps 54 caliber round barrel. The forearm cracked at the barrel screw that holds the forearm to the barrel. I actually blew a hunk of wood out of it and don't know why. I cant see any cracks in the breech. Barrel looks fine. Why crack there? Any help would be appreciated. I did plan to use this on my fall bear hunt and am comfortable with my 4 inch groupings with open sights.

well that sucks, I hate when things break and end being hard to find replacements !
would this work??(didn't mention if carbine or full size)
https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/449620
or
https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/1786530
OR maybe
adding some pictures to get us to try and make some suggestions
but if it crack at the barrel screw my guess is, the screw was loose allowing recoil to put pressure on the screw as the barrel moved in the stock
there are some pretty incredible epoxy's on the market today that Might help repair this stock pending damage
or maybe can mill out a section and fill in with a combo of epoxy and or metal pin's plates or?/
that or talk to some good stock makers and ask if they can make you one using the broken forearm as a template for them, I imagine they can, just if costs are worth it to you??

I did a Google search for "stock duplicating services" and there's a bunch of stock duplicating specialists.
You know the old saying, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

would the full sized one work or can it be made too??
this way maybe a stock maker can just reshape, ?
saving all the time of making it fit other wise having it already pre formed mostly??
As that would save a LOT of work time on the stock makers part, helping make things a bit less costly for you !
OR maybe even something you could do at home with a few basic wood working tools

Well I found a replacement and it's being shipped to me. Hopefully it will fit. And the guy I talked to was very knowledgeable on sharps. He knew why it happened and what I need to watch in the future. And....he said he could repair my original. But I ordered an unfinished replacement to hopefully fix my missing forearm temporarily so i can still bear hunt with it.

my last shot when the firearm cracked. Bottom target 1 inch high at 50 yards. With a peep site and 70 yr old eyes! I was getting better the more I practiced. My second to last shot was low, same target.
I started on the center target aligning the peep as its adjustable. It has been a long time since I used open, or iron sites or even a perp site. All I use now are scoped firearms. So to make sure I can hit my target correctly I've been practicing. Was real happy with my last 2 shots.
