Come on Guys
I'm stuck down here in Florida with nothing to shoot. Will someone please get some range time in and post their reports. Every time I come on here I see the same posts. Give this Forum a little CPR and revive it. Pleeeeeeeease!

On the 22nd I had my first chance since last summer to send a few. Lots of snow up here, including some mud around the bench. Had to plow to the backstop to hang a target.
I was sent two (2) new prototype bullets from Fury to shoot, the new 265gr/.453" bullets, along with some newer 250gr/452" start tips with plastic tips. A little more bearing surface.
Good day to shoot as it had reached the lower 40's and only maybe a 10-12mph wind.
The .453" bullets are geared towards the CVA Paramount.

Very nice shooting there BA. How far was the target. I didn't see that posted. But from 50 yards out that is really great. 10 shot in that ragged hole is impressive for that 250 gr bullet.

I'm working on it bronko.
I just loaded my 54 sharps carbine and tried 3 times to hit a jug at 20 yds.
I need a bench. Nothing to show but a clean miss.
And with the knee deep snow.
But I believe those are the first 3 shots they this percussion rifle.
80 grains ffg Black Gold, 475 grain conical.
Very little recoil.
I also had a peep site installed.
Promise to start a new thread with pictures.
Plan is to whack a bear with it.
And I cleaned and checked a very old 16 ga sxs front end loader.
Pulled that out to repattern. I want to shoot my 130th turkey some 30 yrs kater.
Shot my 3rd on my 40th birthday withit.
And want to di ac l in a Pedroselli 10 ga.
And a White Thunder.
So yes I'll be blowing smoke soon.

All shooting is done at 100yds. Actually to be exact, its 107yds here at home. I can't move the bench forward for dropping down a hill. To lazy to bring the backstop out
I was sent other new bullets (275's) to try and if this weather does what they say it will, I plan on a few more rounds.

New to me older, welded lug, TC Omega with Boyd's stock, DNZ mount, Nikon SlugHunter BDC scope, very nice trigger. Very nice handling rifle. I'll shoot some larger doses of BH to see how it does, but this rifle is mainly for kids. 80gr max should work great for 100yds and under.
80gr Volume BH209 powder
Red dots are 250gr Hornady FTX
Orange dots are 250gr Barnes TEZ
Harvester smooth black sabots
Winchester 209 primer
100 yards
Primers all very clean except one, I think some crud got in there
