Is it new or used? condition if used? stainless or nitride or blued? That will make a difference in price. I have a Optima V2 with 26" barrel nitride, .50 cal. very accurate!! Got it to hunt late season nasty weather or rainy conditions, killed three deer so far in late seasons.
I don't see any advantage in the extra 2" of barrel unless you plan on long shots, that might make a difference, but within 125yds probably not.

that sounds like an decent deal. Not an awesome one. There is a nitride one with a Konus scope from Sportsman's Warehouse where prices are fairly cheap. They want $489. Take $150 off for the scope and that puts you right at the $330. And I think the nitride is more corrosion resistant than the stainless.

$330 is what I paid for my Optima V2 rifle with nitride, Konus scope, gun boot and accessories. I got it off Amazon in 2013, they made a mistake an called it a Accura. I called them on it an they dropped the price!
Actually $330 is not a bad price for a NIB Optima V2 SS. I really like the nitride barrel over SS myself!!

https://cva.bpishopping.com/catalog/...c/category/13/ For $50 more you can add a Konus scope and gun boot. On sale now at CVA.

I love My ACCURA "1st Geberation" 28" Stainless Bergara Barrel, I've taken Deer out to 178yds and went clean through, Very Accurate. Is the Optima the older style or newer style with the Quick Release Breech Plug? Does it have a Bergara Barrel? I'm not into Thumb Hole Stocks, it's a personal preference what ever You like. Is the Stock Camo?

All I own are CVA's I have 5 and each one shoots as good as the one behind it. I'd need to know more about the Optima your talking about before I'd give My opinion.

BP I believe the Optima LR is the newer version. I don't think they had the LR model before with the older breechplug.
