Got this buck during our muzzy season with my TC bone collector, 100grs of T7 and 250gr bonded shock wave. Ranged it at 133 yards, no pass through but destroyed his lungs. He ran about 40 yards before piling up. No big rack at all but the freezer needed some meat,

congrat's & nice buck. i believe i'm going to use my muzzie for gun week. i just love the 1 shot challenge. last year got most of my deer with a 450 bushmaster. really missed the muzzleloader. used it once & bang the season was done .

Way to go! There's something more satisfying about killing a buck with a muzzle loader.

Bocajnala 10-26-2018 03:59 AM

That's a fine looking buck sir.

Looks like some Rocky ground too.

Thanks fellers

where abouts do you hunt in ohio. i'm up in lorain county . don't forget they raised non resident's hunting license this year.another thing if you hunt public or state game land it's 1 doe & 1 buck only & after dec 2 2018 it's buck only. but if you hunt private land it's whatever the county allows you.

t.shaffer 10-27-2018 06:59 AM

good luck here in ohio for the up coming gun season. differently will be using a muzzy, considering buying a traditions back country or a t/c strike

lemoyne 10-27-2018 07:44 AM

Good luck in Ohio.

Bocajnala 10-27-2018 09:38 AM

I'll be hunting in Jefferson and carol counties. Yea I saw about the license going up. There still not to bad priced compared to other states. I have a cousin who lives in Amsterdam in Jefferson county. Always enjoy going up there.
