Dougs136Schwartz sent this 45 caliber 300 grain Fury Fat bullet. It is very long. See compared to 300g XTP.





Loaded the rifle with the 300g XTP as kinda a baseline, and 80 grain Blackhorn, and shot one shot at the middle of the targets placed out 25 yard. Adjusted the scope down, then loaded the rifle with the 300g Fury bullet; 80 grain Blackhorn, and shot the upper target. Then loaded the 300g Pittman, 80g Blackhorn, and shot the lower target. Shot the Pittman bullet twice.






Because the Fury bullet went through the paper sidewise, did not shoot the bullet any more.

Looks like that bullet will require a much faster twist than you have. 1:24 might do it but more than likely would need a 1:20.
