Default Got A Buck

Saw this buck a couple times. Also saw him on game cameras. He had two short and very heavy "spikes". Decided to cull him if i got the chance.

Distance: About 80 yards
Attitude: Quartering to

Gun: .54 TC Fire Hawk
Bullet: 250 grain SST
Powder: 100 grains of Black MZ
Cap: Winchester magnum #11

Deer came into view while grazing on green grass. He finally turned a slightly sideways and i fired.

Deer ran about 75 yards after being hit.

Bullet entered the crease between the right shoulder and the body taking out two ribs. Pieces of the bullet exited the inside of the ham on the left side.

Congrats!

I need to take queues from you on how to write about hunting harvests, instead of writing a novel!
