Default Need sum advice guys

Im lookin for a new muzzleloader and have been doin alot of research. I have pretty much narrowed it down to either the TC Triumph or Bighorn. I will be putting a scope on it and shooting XTP. I currently use the 777 pellets but want to make the change to BH209 like most on here do.
Whats yalls suggestions

Out of the 2 you've selected I'd go with the Triumph also.

I have the Triumph for many years, zero issues, accurate. I use two pellets of Triple 7 Magnums, with a 250gr. Barnes T-EZ......BlackHorn is expensive, at times hard to find, and I myself have zero time to make and look for the proper loads......

Thanks for all yalls input. Is there a diff between 777 pellets and 777 magnums?

YES! For a .50cal, there are T7 - 50/50 and also T7M - 50/60. DO NOT USE 3 OF THE MAGNUM PELLETS, which would equal a 180gr charge. You would be way over charging your rifle, endangering yourself and others who may be around you.

Now if you're EXTREMELY careful, you can mix the two different pellets for a 10gr equivalent change. Such as 1/50 and 1/60 which would equal 110grs. Or two of the 60gr pellets which would equal 120grs. I'd encourage due diligence if doing so.

I have a triumph, I shoot 100 grains of blackhorn 209 with a 250 grain Barnes tez 250 grain , with a leupold scope. I get cloverleafs at 50 yards and 1 1/2 inch at 100 yards.Very very accurate

Bighorn - being a plunger gun, not recommended with BH209.

I have had a Big Horn and have a Triumph now. You should not use the best modern powder in the Big horn. The Triumph is with out question the best choice of the two you mentioned. If you really want a Knight get an up to date one. Personally I believe a bolt action muzzleloader is a waste of space that could be barrel and add velocity, and extra weight added to no purpose.
