One of the guys in our hunting party has a Wolf, (plus his dad has my old wolf) the kid has taken down 3 deer in the past 2 years, shooting a 295 grain Power Belt, with 80 grains of 777 powder. Not a one of them took more than 3 steps. Not to mention that I have taken numerous deer with the wolf that I gave to my buddy. The key is, dont use so much powder. 80-9o grains does the trick just fine.
