Colorado elk vs. Hornady FPB 350
My brother used a load last week to get another elk which makes the 5th elk we have taken with this set up. He uses an Omega with 90 gr of BH 209 and a 350 gr FPB. Large cow elk was downhill and angling away from him. Bullet entered on the back of the right rib cage and was found under the skin of the left elbow. She went about 100 yards. Bullet was nicely mushroomed and prob still had well over 300 gr left. I am pretty happy with this load. I am not smart enough to figure out how to download a pic from my phone on this site but was able to post in monstermulies in the blackpowder section if you want to see the bullet
