Why in the world would you want to do it in a ML? Slice it anyway you like but that is the cold hard fact of the matter. I could legally shoot deer all season long with a 223 55gr HP (varmint bullet) and harvest deer but that doesn't make it the right thing to do either.
Why would shooting deer with a .223 and a 55 gr HP be wrong?

Well pilgrim, I'll tell you why I like the 250gr Powerbelt....

The powerbelt is a pure lead "soft" conical with a massive hollow point that prevents it from penetrating, and 99% of the time, fragment its hundreds of little pieces.

This is what i found when i did an in the field test with the 250gr Aerolite. Accurate as hell, but at $30 a package, this kind of fragmentation should not be happening. But again, soft lead with a HUGE hollow point, what did the engineer expect was going to happen?

The ballistic tip itself actually does more damage to the bullet than it does good. Due to long smooth shaft, 95% of the time this tip actually gets turned sideways into the bullet, eats deep into the center of the bullet on impact and greatly weakens the center, again, causing easier fragmention. You can take a soft lead bullet, throw it against a wall and have it mushroom some. Push it 1800-2000fps and you'll see exactly what a hand grenade will do when a person is standing near it.

Whoah hold on there.. where is the 250gr field test? Tossing in what a 300gr might have done has nothing to do with a 250gr.

Was this one a lie then?

Buddy, You can troll all you want like you always do, but when it comes to using powerbelts, you have very little experience obviously. Most likely when you did use them, you still hadnt a clue how to use them and had to switch to something that made up for your error in the field.

Troll hardly, you posted they blow up and now you say they dont. As far as i know its still the same bullet as 2013 and the deer have not changed either.

So either you lied then about the field test in 2013 or you are lying now. Either way ends with the same conclusion about your opinion on the topic. You have pages upon pages of negative comments about PBs on no less than 2 other boards. For some reason you defend them to the death here.

The ONLY thing i have done is agreed with your earlier negative PB posts on those other forums.

LOL for hunting, they turned out to be awesome. I did the testing while you trolled the forums. In sand, they fragment badly as a lot of the ligther weight conicals do.

You keep talking about trolling but wasn't it you who used a friend's login to troll another forum because you were banned from that forum?...Yeah, keep up the talk about trolling.

You said "IN THE FIELD TESTING" they failed....Its really simple to understand.

they passed actually. Huge blood trail, massive internal damage.

You are a troll. The subject is powerbelts, not trolls who do not use them.

Here's a heck of a powerbelt IMO. The 300gr Aerolite Powerbelt. THAT bullet hits like a Mack truck and keeps on going.
