Squirrel Intrests Turkey
Seemed the turkey had never seen a white squirrel before. It stayed close for quite awhile; the squirrel kinda wanted to play. The turkey kinda displayed . __________________ |
Cool. Never saw a white (albino?) squirrel before either. They common in your area?

I have seen a albino white squirrel only once before in the news paper. That is pretty cool to see that squirrel. I would feed the devil out of him. Now black squirrels are real common at my Dad's house. And they are pretty to watch. Normal squirrels are there too. All I have are those darn pine squirrels. They are little rodents of destruction! I used to shoot them. But have mellowed in age. I just quite feeding around the house and all the animals now kind of stay away.

In my home town we had black squirrels and more than just the odd sighting.

+ + Maybe that turkey never saw a white squirrel either - LOL !!! |
This is the first white squirrel we have seen here since moving in (15 year). We saw a white squirrel about 25 year ago on the other side of town; they are seen (rarely) by folks living in Rapid City. Have never seen a black squirrel in Rapid City, nor have i heard of a sighting. Whilst living in Great Falls i had a black one come and meet me when i went out to get the paper in the morning. He was quite a beggar, and would take nuts out of my hand. Probably saw three black squirrels over 25 year in Great Falls. Never saw a single white squirrel in Great Falls.
The turkey certainly behaved as though he had never seen a white squirrel before. _____________ |
Cool Ron.. I too have seen several black (greys) but never a white one.
