Guys I received an email today from Lynn's son. Lynn has suffered a major stroke on Thursday night and is in very bad shape. He asked that I let you guys know because he had no way of logging in to this site.
I told him I would let you all know and that I would pray for his recovery and for the family's comfort in this situation. I ask you to please do the same. Thanks.

Dang! That is awful - Let's all get together and push for him to make the 'great and speedy recovery'

I got another email and it appears it is even worse that I thought. I'm not quite sure but he may be on life support and because of his living will he may have the plug pulled in a couple days. I also found out that Lynn isn't a religious man so my prayers have been altered that he finds the Lord before his passing which may be soon.

If he's that bad i dont blame him for pulling the plug. But im very saddened by this, and i hope he gets healthier before this happens.

This is so sad. He really seemed to enjoy coming here to participate. I'll pray for his saved soul, should his life support get disconnected.

Members, it is with a sad heart that I must tell you all that I received an email this morning from Lynn's son Danny. At Lynn's request in his living will, the family has honored his wishes and removed him from life support on Wednesday morning. The stroke he suffered damaged most of his frontal lobe and other parts of the brain and the doctors said there would be no way he could recover from it. We have lost a wealth of knowledge in SuperHunt54. God rest his soul.
I request that you continue your prayers for comfort of the family in this sad time.

So sad to hear this. We lost a real knowledgeable one of a kind sportsman. May he RIP.

So sorry to hear this! He had a wealth of knowledge that we all are going to miss. My prayers are with his family.

My apologies. I didn't realize this had been posted in other sections. My thoughts and thanks for your prayers and condolences for my dad were posted in the guns section. Sheridan, I'm sure the old man hopped on the spirit horse and made him dance. Mom just cracked us all up and said they probably sent a mule for the stubborn old goat. I guess it's better to laugh than to cry.

No apologies necessary! Your dad will be missed on this forum as he had a wealth of knowledge. I love your mom's sense of humor, she must be fun to be with especially at parties. Know this, your dad may be gone physically, but he is always around all of you. My niece is a spiritual medium. When my mom died she told me things of conversations and thoughts I had of my mom that there was no way she could have know. I truly believe our deceased love ones are always around us and that one day we will all be back together again with our love ones and friends.

HL, I posted on the 2 forums I know he came to a lot. And one of the moderators also posted it on the "politics" forum because he knew he like to banter with members there.
