Tom, You can't know the bloodline is better than the monoflex. You haven't ever shot the monoflex. You haven't ever killed an animal using the monoflex.

One thing i do know for sure; you are a persistent salesman.

Don't assume Ron, its never good. Two Bucks and three Doe have been harvested with that bullet. Two bucks in Ohio, and one doe in Ohio, and two doe in PA. The Barnes MZ Expander is much better then this bullet on game. But at the range the monoflex does fly better but at 200 yards its nothing to be honest. Same with the SST and other tipped bullets.

But your right in a way, i bring people along to do my dirty work.

Just an FYI, cutting edge bullets are being used this season once there in stock.

Many bullets you have tested i dont comment on cause i have not used them. If they interest me sooner or later i will.

Yes, the monoflex i tested were 452. They are called muzzleloader bullets, by Hornady. The 458, are called rifle bullets. Wouldn't know if they work differently or not.

Well, maybe shooting 0.452 SST would be dirty work. Maybe not, well maybe.

My bullet choice for next season has to be the 300g 45 caliber XTP i guess. Boring choice, but it put a gut shot deer down right now, this season. Dumb me thought it was dead, and walked right up to it; so it ran off, but didn't go far, and lay down again, giving me another chance for the kill.

Well, I love the Lehighs/Bloodlines no doubt. They are fantastic in their terminal ballistics. But my needs for a longer range bullet performance in FLIGHT is leading me to a different bullet selection POSSIBLY. I don't know yet how well the lehighs will fly out to 300 out of the new SML. A bullet does me absolutely no good whatsoever if I can't put it where it belongs. Lehighs heaviest .400 CF bullet is only 215 but it does have a .330 G1BC so I MAY give it a swing. But on a Moose at the slower speeds at 300 yards it might not have the weight for penetration. I wouldn't worry about that in the least on a whitetail but a Moose is a lot tougher to penetrate that a scruffy little ole whitetail.

When I used pistol bullets I preferred the 250grn XTP over the 300grn XTP. But back then I mostly shot two pellets I believe???

I would wait and see the new bullet first. It will be a better long rangbullet then the Bloodlines or any current ML bullets Lehigh has.

Ron, I was thinking about this. I've gut shot at least 5 Deer with my Flintlock over the years. Everyone of those Deer went right down. Even with a patch and rounball. They only moved when I tried getting closer or shot again. I think even a poor bullet would put the Deer down. I've shot plenty of Deer with XTP'S with good results. So I'm not saying your bullet is bad at all.
