Good job and the bullet i'm using for deer this year. The same bullet, but in 300gr for elk next year.
Shot looks too high and far back for me. How far did he go? |
That's the exit hole... the entrance was tight on the left front shoulder. The cowhorn was quartering to me,,, he made it about 40 yards with a good blood trail.
|
Ah ok. Good deal.

Congratulations on making meat. Nice looking young buck there. Should be real good eating.
|
Congrats on the buck.

I'll give y'all a good recipe for some tender meat like this...
South Carolina Hash: You can use a roast, backstraps, or stew meat for this... Put the meat in a pot, cover with water, and boil until fall apart tender-- Take the deer meat out and shred it with your fingers-- Pour the old water out, put the shredded meat back in the pot and just cover with clean water-- Add one large jar of Pace Picante sauce, salt and pepper to taste, and cook until most of the liquid is gone-- Put the Hash on a hamburger bun with some Dukes Mayo,,, add some chips and a cold beer... :guiness: That's some good eat'n! |
No potatoes?
|
Some fried taters yes... just don't put any in the Hash!
|
Good deer flint head. Congratulations.
By the way, that's not hash - it's Sloppy Joes. :D Try adding some Worcestershire sauce with the picante sauce. |
