Default Gotta love Knight

Or not!

Ordered a Knight red hot off ebay, 6-1mm for my Traditions and something didn't look right and it wouldnt even come close to fitting into the drum.

Measured my old knight red hot and get a measurement of .230" while this new one runs .244" !! Thats a pretty darn big difference, especially since it won't even come close to screwing into the drum.

I tried it in a rifle that uses a 6 - .75 nipple and guess what? Even that hole was tiny compared to what knight put in the box

Wow that is a big difference. I wonder why?

I didn't know Knight Rifle had an Ebay account. What is the sellers Ebay account name?

he has multiple auctions now. Hes going to send me a new one thats marked 6-1mm and smaller diameter. I think they put the wrong nipple in the box marked 6-1mm.

6mm = 0.236"
1/4 = 0.250"
both your dimensions .230 & .244 are 0.006" under. Thread pitch on your .244 might be 28 (1/4-28), although it's hard to check thread pitch on such short threads.
Hopefully you can get the correct one.

Tomorrow I'll put it through some dies. I bet they did put the 1/4x28 nipple in the box instead. Hopefully the replacement is the correct size.

well I tried the 1/4x28 and 1/4x20 threader, it wouldn't fit into any of these. Hopefully the replacement will be correct because I have no clue what this fits.
