Default 2016 Lehigh Defense visit!!!!!

Took a trip to visit my friends at Lehigh. It's amazing how much they have grown since I've been there several years go. New machines, new technology, and a lot of new employees. I believe the number is 35 now.

The main topic was bullets while I was there. They are gonna work on some soft copper bullets that can be sized to shoot at paper sabot less. I'm new to the sabot less world so I left my sizing die with Dave to help make this go smoothly. Looking at a high BC .452 bullet with an aluminum tip that can be sized to .449 or .450 to shoot In a fast twist 45. And since we are looking for 500 yard accuracy a boat tail is in the works. Just need to come up with an o ring or a sub base molded to fit the boat tail to make it work.

Another bullet I asked for was a .452 220grn CF bullet. This bullet will work good for NULA owners and anyone using a 50cal ML for Deer. All the CF bullets will be redesigned to be stronger and better in the next few months.

I took a bunch of pics I would like to share with you guys. Any questions just ask!!!

I'll ad more pictures tomorrow.

If you sent him a barrel blank that is long enough and a Knight barrel/action, i wonder if he could replicate it?

Careful Grouse or you'll get yelled at by the anti-Lehigh elitists.

There is some really awesome equipment in that building... I really want one of those rods of copper in the box the floor. A lot of bullets could come out of one of those rods...
