The 250's I shot in my .50 Disc Elite were cutting holes at 80yds. I was very happy with how they shot. Unfortunately I didn't get to try them out on some live game this past season. I will for sure next year! |

Like GM stated earlier, the 220gr .458 Bloodlines loaded tight in my Hawken even with the Orange MMP sabots and they are damn near impossible to stuff down my daughters new TC Impact but they shot well after the blood sweat and tears of loading them. If they would cut them down to .452, maybe adding a couple thousandths to the length for keeping the weight at 220gr, they would have a clear winner! I'm in one of those retarded states that require a minimum .44 caliber bullet so that leaves me out of the picture for a lot of Lehighs really good BC bullets that are .400 for the .45 caliber owners :( |
The other issue besides the .458s being tight is...my only 50cal is a 1-32 twist. Im pretty limited by bullet length even though i can push them to 2200fps+.
