both plugs look like they will leak now that ive zoomed in on the pics. Its hard to point out those. The nose on both of them are something ive seen in the past.

you need to protect the little ring at the barrel end of the plug that's what seals to the inside of bore if it gets bent it will leak around the nose of the plug. don't drop it been there done that.

Yes, those plugs may very well leak, because they won't be able to make a good seal with the barrel. Those tiny tiny dings on the rim, will allow blow by. Here is my opinion from a few days ago....

I don't understand why CVA uses cheap soft material in there plugs??? Ecspecialy in Accura MR. This is a $400.00 gun, not a $200.00 wolf or something. Knight also frustrated me when they went with a cheaper steel instead of 17/4 stainless. 416 stainless is cheap to.

They have to use a softer material in those seal rings for mating. It's a design flaw really but if you are particularly careful with them they should be fine.

That's way I like the western plug that ring is thicker and comes in a PVC sleeve. just better quality.

I never trade this but can you sand just the flat tip of the ring just to take the dings out as long as there not to deep and steel work and seal. and you may want to do it before you mate to bore.

Tom's modified plug was mailed back to him inside a broom handle, to ensure it would not get damaged, on it's way back home.

I was trying to find out the difference between the CVA BH209 version versus the Western Powders version. All the the info I got here was they were the same. But I find most people don't pay attention to detail I should of known better.
