Ohio Muzzleloader - Knight Super Disc and Lehigh/bloodline 200 grain

I ended up taking this doe on our first day of muzzleloader season with a knight super disc .45 and 200 grain Lehigh/bloodline bullet. The distance the deer was shot at was a ranged 90 yards. The deer went around 15 yards after the shot.

I will say that I was very impressed with the performance from this set up. The deer was hit in the lungs but as you can see in the picture, one of the petals went through the heart. When I opened the deer up there was significant damage in the entire chest cavity. One front shoulder was broke as well.

Congratulations!!! That bullet gun combination is extremely deadly on any game in North America.

Great results - and I can attest to same type positive results using the 40x200 Lehigh from either my Super DISC or my DISC Extreme. Just a great bullet.

I've had similar results. Those Lehigh / Bloodlines are devastating.

My daughter took a pretty hefty buck this year with my Hawken using those .458 220gr Bloodlines with a DRT result high shoulder. Lungs destroyed and spine toasted. Never seen or heard about those bloodlines until you guys told me about them. Have to say, I am 100% impressed with not only my daughters results but also all the results I have seen on here as well as other boards. They flat out work.

I also am very impressed with them. I took a nice buck running year before last with my 45 Prohunter and this year I took a doe at 120 yds. The buck was a long angle running shot and the doe was quartering toward me. Not my preferred shots, both deer dropped quick and the damage is double what I have had from any other bullet.

Good deal! Congrats on the harvest.
