Yes, I got lots of 300grn Bloodlines I would trade for some. I could also go pick up some maxi hunters if I need to

Quick check on 2 different sites both list 1:28 twist.

i ll put my money on the impact i've got one & has a 1 x 4 bushnell cicle x scope love it dearly great set up shoots as good as my bone collector but does have more of a kick to it liter & does not have the flex tech energy burners. one 1 problem i have with the impact is the cci 209 mag primers have a problem sticking in the primer pocket & i use bh209 they start to stick after about the 4th shot. i'm really interested in the new strike which is the ldr muzzleloader. i'm also interested in buying a traditions 30 ldr vortex striker fire the one that is hammer less

Check for barrel slop with the actions closed. My son's Impact had some wiggle.

TC's speed breach plug works well but has many nooks and crannies to clean and it's somewhat expensive to replace. My favorite is still CVA's QR plug.

Now that would bother me!!! Did you contact T/C and try and get that fixed?

No on contacting TC. It's very easy to take apart. I put a very thin shim on both sides and now no more barrel slop with the action closed. Some report the wiggle with theirs and some don't. I'm not a fan of the sliding hood design on the Impact but it's lightweight and short stock (with the section of stock removed) fits my youngest son just right.

Another good question!! I'll come up with a spread sheet next week to mark and comment on while testing. Any suggestions or if anyone has a simple test sheet would be great as well.

1-breech plug
2-barrel strength, load ratings
3- accuracy
4-Quality
5-user-friendly
6-cleanliness
To name a few
