Sounds like something I might find in one of those X-Rated Book Stores.

Heck I didn't even know there was a season on them. Don't matter though because I don't reckon we have any here in my part of the country.
But honestly I don't know how they shoot as I've never shot one. They don't look like anything extra ordinary.

I just did a search on Tingle since I had never heard of it before. Thats a really nice gun and fairly rare. There are a few hits on youtube too. There is one site that has the write up from gun digest about the gun and the man that made them. http://www.gundigest.com/gun-collect...n-still-amazes

I've read that.
He was definitely a 'Made in America' original!

Yes, there are a few utube vids and the stray forum post re:Tingles, but little info, in general.

I was curious if anyone had range reports, load recommendations, etc.

afaik, the twist is 1:56.

I'd suggest using FFFg black powder and start at 60 grains and work you way up in 10 grain increments and also trying different patch thicknesses and ball diameters to see what shoots the best. That's the fun of muzzle loading. Finding out what your rifle likes to shoot.

True, which is why you should try the same thing with 2F.
