As I have said before, some people just do not have the brains to shoot a muzzle loader. And these are normally the kind that you see dead or injured from their rifles simply because they listen to Bubba next door telling them how to shoot their muzzy.

What I saw was powder ignite on the table then flame/smoke, gun appeared to fire alright.

What was on the table? A bowl of powder?

It looks to me like a full box of pellets. Watch it full screen and stop it between 4 and 5 seconds.

That was my guess the way it went up a second or two after a spark must have dropped from the gun onto it. I've always wondered why there aren't a lot more serious accidents and deaths from people using MLs and even more so people that reload and seem to be dumber than a stump about most things in life.

lol. a dummy friend of mine, 30 years ago was reloading. he spilled some powder on the carpet and decided to use the vacuum to clean it up, musta been some static electricity , cause the powder went off . he got it out , but he was lucky.there were several different powder cans on table right above the fire. someone was looking out for him that day. he was lucky to get it out without burning down to whole durn house.

It's been proven that static electricity won't set off powder. Unless it's extreme like what's used on electric guns
