As long as you love it. It's all that counts. It doesn't mean squat what others think.

Thats what i chose. The action is almost perfect in size for a 209. The action is threaded for the barrel, beefy recoil lug and 2 mounting points for the stock. A few refinements (ala Underclocked) would it make exceptional.

I guess since I have most of the rifles I want already, I would go for a Pedersoli Brown Bess Flintlock in .75 caliber. I wouldn't do much more then shoot it in the yard, at paper. Since its a smoothbore I would not expect that much accuracy. I have seen people shoot them and their accuracy never impressed me. But their power sure did.

T7, that would be a good idea if she wasn't one of those EXTREMELY rare women that don't give 2 hoots about diamonds and jewelry! New car, nice trip to somewhere I hate but she loves (she likes hot places), my last apology was a trip to Tahiti. She certainly knew I was sorry since I seriously hate temperatures over 70! (hot girls in bikinis helped a lot though ) She views diamonds as a serious waste of money. Her words "just what in the hell am I supposed to do with an expensive rock?" I ever tell you guys I love my wife

I hated the heat but the view was spectacular and the diving was fantastic. And did I mention the barely there bikinis? I'm married not blind or dead! Would I rather be in the mountains in your neck of the woods hunting? Of course, but when you love your wife, you do all you can to make them happy. Especially when you screw up as often as I do

Stop screwing up, and then take her to the mountains.

She'll snuggle up more often when she's cold.
