Better Children' 50g Blackhorn Load??

I couldn't view these Ron. My computer has been acting up lately. So I don't know how those 2 bullets performed. Personally I don't mind bullets that fragment. I shot a bull moose a couple years ago with my .30-06 using 180 gr Sierra Game Kings. My first shot was head on. My 2nd and 3rd hit him broadside and were complete pass throughs. I didn't know it at the time but the first bullet core separated from the jacket. The core traveled through the chest and lodged in the back straps after traveling about 24" or so. The jacket turned downward and passed through the diaphram slicing the liver and stomach and exiting out the belly.
that bull only traveled 30 yards. The first shot would have definitely killed him but I wasn't taking any chances.

I'm actually planning on shooting the 185 CF some next spring in my .45 Disc Elite. I bet they would perform superbly on Whitetail sized game out to 200yds.

I read posts all the time on Medicare / Social Security Children using 50 grains of powder - a roundball and harvesting every year. No doubt there's one or two wearing a diaper too.

Ahem!!! I resemble that remark!!! Some of use old farts need lighter recoiling loads thank you very much :D Granted I'm still built like a tank and still meaner than a rattlesnake when POed but after 65 ya just don't "bounce" like you 50 year old pups do!!! :poke:

I am 64 years - 74 days and 16:35 hours old. No diapers yet either.
But I think this darn deer standing next to me just leaked all over my right leg. :nonono2:

Better than the "crap" I have to deal with from the 8 running in "front" of me

hahahahaha

I read somewhere that Rudolph's diet has too much fiber. I heard his butt is as red as his nose.

Merry Christmas to all here. Keep your powder dry fellas.

I have the answer to the recoil problem. A PRB out of a 10lb gun.

Now that I have that figured out. I need to work on how to carry a 10lb gun. :(

LOL it aint that difficult. Try lugging around a 12 pound (fully loaded with optics) AR or a 110 pound Slugger to build up those muscles :D I actually like a heavier rifle myself. I shoot a LOT better off hand with around 12 or so pounds. Now them really LOOOOOOONGGGGGG howitzer looking flintlocks are a little much for me though. Even swamped they are just absolutely too dang nose heavy even for my gorilla arms.
