Default One last Hoorah

I'm down in FL now with the little ones until Christmas. Then heading back up to PA the day after and hunt the Primitive (flintlock only) season. I have 3 tags that need to be filled. I hope I have as good a luck this year as I did last year harvesting a large doe with the .50 Renegade/GM LRH. If I do I'll take the Hawken/ .50 cal 1:66 GM barrel up to the camp and try to take one there with a PRb

I love that season. I still have two tags for 2D and 3 or 4 for 2B. I'm gonna use some of that time and try and get that buck I'm after in Ohio. In Flintlock season I'll use my Lyman DeerStalker with a new 45 1/20 twist barrel with a 200grn Bloodline. The barrel is so short, no sense of shooting any more then 100grns by volume of Goex.

Good luck Bronko. I hope you do get that HOORAH. I'm hoping for one of those this weekend.

Best of the holidays and then have a good hunt. Primitive season sounds fun.

Bronko...

Don't stay too long Bud.. you won't be able to take the cold when you come back!! But, in the event that your blood's still thin enough to traipse up and down these "little" Pennsylvania mountains, I hope you fill a tag or two and enjoy your time hunting!! Good luck my friend!

Good luck Bronco.
I'm hoping to fill a late season tag also, but with my inline. Where I live, its just rifle season....forever it seems. 2 mos long, buck or doe every day. I loved the old days when we had a 2 week rifle season, then a couple weeks about a month later for Muzzleloader. I'll be taking my .50 Disc Elite in hopes to knock the new off of it!
