Default Ny Buck

Got this guy on Sunday in Clarkson NY. He came out on to the edge of a field about 400 yards away from me. He sat there grazing on the grass so I gave him a few grunts on the call and he came flying accross the field and stopped at 90 yards. Shot him with my Savage ML11 with a Hornady 325gr FTX.

Good choice but not ideal for a 325gr FTX. Its also no longer made so buy up all you can. Reloder7 is still widely available and it works very well with 300-325gr bullets.

He's dark -- like the ones I used to hunt in Michigan's Thumb Region swamps. Big bushy tail too.

Congrats
